So, I noticed no date accompanied the Metal Gear Solid Rising announcement. Does this mean the project has yet to begin or just began? If so, does this mean we are looking at a 2011 release?

hi, great projects announced so far, really looking foward to them. but i was hoping there would be some sort of special mgs 4 for xbox, a bit like the mgs 2 substance a few years back.

A Kojima-involved Castlevania game is probably going to be one of the highlights of E3, next to the Final Fantasy XIV announcement.

I certainly hope with this direction of the franchise that the helm lead usually by Koji Igarashi has been dethroned. I was looking forward to his project starring Alucard...

What I really wanted to be announced in this E3 are the Trophies coming to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of the Patriots. Why? damn it! even ****** games like UnrealTournament3 have them and the best game ever made doesn't?

GREAT news that Rising is multeplat. I REALLY didnt want to buy 360...Also Peace Walker looks, incredible. Cant wait for Rising gameplay footage and an answer to the mulpitle Big Boss's. MGS is ALMOST like a religion to me....Not to come off too strong.

Thanks for the daily podcast's over the last few day's, they are appreicated. Good new's came out of E3, though felling a tad dissapointed that Big Boss is going back to PSP as his story is one I would love to play on a next gen console, none the less am still excited about it and the trailer looked pretty sweet, espesially for a portable system! Also good new's to hear (officially) that Rising will be on PS3 too, though is it really a stealth game? A Ninja Raiden doesn't stike me as the steathest of characters... Will be looking forward to seeing more on this one.
Castlevania, well I have heard of it but I know very little about ther series, but have seen the trailer and look's very exciting!

I was very impressed by the new MGS: Peace Walker! The trailer really hyped me up for this game! But shortly after that I was really disappointed by the information that the game is going to be a PSP exclusive. I've heard you say on the KP Report that this new title is going to be a true heir to MGS3, a game of the caliber like that of MGS4... yet, it is developed on the PSP?! I seriously couldn't believe that when I heard that! I'm really looking forward to this game, much more than to MGS: Rising, and I really cannot bear the thought that MGS5 (which I think that's what Peace Walker is supposed to be) is coming on the PSP, instead of PS3... Please, tell me that it at least will be available on the PS2!

Castlevania looks amazing. I was a fan of the first games on PS2 but it looks like you guys are taking things a step further and i cant wait. Also i am SOOOOO very happy that MGS is still going to be on PS3. I know you guys would not leave us behind. I think its great your going multi platform with the series. Also cant wait to experiance Peace Walker and that hole story, because MGS has one of the best storys in video games!!!! I was worried that MGSR wasn't coming to PS3. But now its a offical that it is. Thanks for clearing this up. If it was a 360 exclusive it would have created a HUGE fuss.

Very excited to hear about the 4... FOUR new games from KojiPro. Surprised the hell out of me! Glad to see that Rising was announced for the PS3. That was probably the biggest weight on my chest.

On a side note, Mr. Kojima, your english skills are amazing during the Microsoft conference! Of course, Mr. Sato, your translation was spot-on during the Sony conference!

Its good to hear that MGS: Rising is building multiplatform technology for future KP games. I'm hoping this second team can work on redoing MGS1-4 in this new engine so that everyone can experience the MGS series.

Geeez Guys cut Kojima a break here tbh im glad 360 get a game at the end of the day this isnt about console wars all Kojima Production want is for the Gaming Community play the best series of games out there why not share the experance, Playstation User was Lucky we got the Story of Solid Snake told to us in its intirity and another chapter of Bigboss is coming too which i look forward to it, on my wish list is a BIGBOSS game for the Playstation 3 as i was in awww which He appeared at the end of MGS4. Kojima you've got some explaining to do. Back in TGS 2008, there was a teaser movie showing a new Castlevania game for the PS3 and 360 starring Alucard.

Now here are my questions:
-What happened to that PS3 360 Castlevania game?
-I'm not saying that it's bad for you to make a Castlevania game but why bother being involved for the Lords of Shadow development? is it because the PS2 3D castlevanias by IGA and his team failed?

I am definitely looking forward to the games KP announced at this E3, however, I am sort of disappointed that no new IPs were announced. Is there anything in the works? Perhaps we will see something at TGS? I'd like to know, because MGS4 really seemed like the end of the franchise for me, Peace Walker and Rising sound good, but after having virtually every part of the MGS universe explained and wrapped up in Guns of the Patriots, it seems kind of strange to play a game where there may be no surprises.

Great E3 show. Really amazing. Metal Gear Solid Rising is amazing, now more fans can enjoy Metal Gear Solid and experience this master piece. I was just dissapointed at the trailer a bit, it was such a tease and I just wanted more. Peace Walker should be amazing, I love Portable Ops and Peace Walker seems to just blow that out the water. The MGO arcade machines didn't interest me so much because to be honest, I don't play arcades. And probably what I am most excited about is this new Castlevania, I havn't played these games before but I want to play games made by Kojima that are not MGS so I really look forward to this.

All in all, an amazing event by Konami, top announcements and great news!

Tbh, I would have been more excited/happy if they announced a Trophy patch for MGS4 & MGO rather than these new games

This could be a good new entry for the Castlevania franchise!

Hello there. I'm a big fan of all Kojima Productions titles, but I'm a bit disappointed that we still have not seen a new Metal Gear AC!D game. I was hoping that one would be announced at E3 this year, but apparently nothing doing. I feel like they're great games - have you considered releasing a form of the game on PSN as a cheap downloadable game? On my blog I've talked about how you should do this - it's number one on my top five list of Metal Gear games that haven't been made, but shouldn't.

Hey Sean, first off I wanted to thank you guys for the integral podcasts in MGS4. My first question is, why did they decide to make MGS Rising multiplatform all of a sudden? It's always been on PS, why make it multiplatform? Does that mean then next games are gonna be like this? My second question is, is there a slight chance there will be integral podcasts on other metal gears, like Rising?

Can you justify the existence of Rising? It's not really needed. MGS4 wrapped up everything poetically, it was an incredible end to a series. It even wrapped up Raiden's story. Shouldn't the MGS story end there? Is there a point to drag Raiden's or the MGS story on further into the future? I'm not the only fan who thinks this. I'd appreciate if you addressed this.
Peace Walker on the other hand, I'm very excited for. Prequels are accepted.
