| TGS was great! Had a lot of fun following it too.
In Portable Ops I was in a kinda sceptical mood with Ashley Woods work, but it really gets better the more you see of it.
Same thing with the new Song "Heavens Divide". First I was like: "seriously ***".
But now I think it is a song with a great theme.
I'm looking forward to hear more about the English Recording Sessions.
Yours,
RHC

| Thanks for the hard work guys, Especially Christine's job on the updates on Twitter!
Poor Christine... hope you got some foot massage and some TLC after your hard work. =)
Many topics on my mind, sorry for the long comment but hopefully they will be addressed on the show...
Firstly:
Well done for the Awards for MGS PW and MGS4! XD
Secondly:
I've got myself on Twitter to follow KP Live and visited KP Blogcast often during TGS. I believe for a game developing studio, KP is the best and most open to the media and consumers. Using very innovative ways and taking advantage of technology to reach their target audience: Blogging, Podcasts, and Twitter, very very clever and effective.
I've noticed on the KP Blogcast, Christine submits some entries in English, Thank you so much. However, it was straining to read (had tears in my eyes), if it's possible, could you adjust the font, font size and letter spacing for a more comfortable read? Thank you. =)
Third:
I've watched the new trailer over 20 times already (as I do with all trailers from KP), this trailer is so heavy with details, content and mood created with amazing visuals and audio.
I felt so moved and “WOW...”ed from the combination of Shinwaka's and Ashley's work.
I also felt so emotional towards the end of the trailer; the theme song “Heavens Divide” and voice acting were so impactful.
Oh, Huey and his voice actor are making me wonder about... hmm... =)
4th:
The MGS PW website is so cool, nicely designed, the look and feel ties very nicely with the game's concept. I'm a multimedia designer and I find it very inspiring.
Is it created by Asuyo Watanabe? If it is please tell her: “Awesome job!” (With two thumbs up!) KP always has very strong sense of design, Ashley talked about creating toys to inspire themselves and others, and you guys at KP are one of my top inspirers!
5th:
Finally, finally, a guest from out side the KP stuff after the “revival” of the KP Report, great to hear from Ashley Wood again, very funny guy.
Quick question: How come at the end of the new MGS PW trailer, Ashley is credited as a “guest” artist, what does that exactly mean?
Best wishes

| Awesome show!!
I always liked Ashley Wood's artwork it completely fits the Metal Gear tone. I just wish that you have another interview with him sometime in the future.
P.S: I have small but very doable request, PLEASE RELEASE MGS: Digital Graphic Novel on the PSN, it's an extremely rare game now, but please release it under the 10$ price range for obvious reasons.

| The "loyalty to the end" of Snake to The Boss really touches me. There is alot to love about Metal Gear but the realationship between Nakid Snake an The Boss is amazing. Anyway, been listening since podcast 80 or 90 an look forward to the next 100 shows. Been with Metal Gear since the first PS1 game an as long as Hideo an everyone makes the games I will buy them :)

| Kojima Doesn't Have To
Make Metal Gear Any More
I really don't think it's necessary to create a story on exactly why Big Boss became Big Boss. It's quiet obvious in Snake Eater and Portable Ops the motives that drove Naked Snake into the role of Big Boss. It's unnecessary to spoon feed the player every single detail, since all the questions were answered with MGS4. As much as I love the characters and the world that was created for them, it's time to let this franchise rest in peace. It had a wonderful beginning and a satisfying conclusion.
You may work on any project your heart desires Kojimasan. The saga has been complete with MGS4 and now Peace Walker.
Please show us what's else you have stored in that mind of yours and let everyone play in your canvas.

| Good show guys, having Ashley Woods on the show was great, ive been drawing since i was a kid but stoped after high school. Mr. Woods gave a very passionate insight on what his opinions on art is, it has inspired me to pick up the pencil again.
Sean while youre in the US recording some voice overs, im expecting the english voice work to be as good if not better then the japanese one. After watching that scene where Snake takes off his shirt, and it transitions to Ashley Woods art, it was very touching voice work! Youve got big shoes to fill, and we'll miss you on the show. (Try to get some podcasting in the US, that would rock!)

| I enjoyed listening to Ashley. His frankness and amount of experience makes for a great interview.
Annoyingly, just as I am swamped with work and things to do because of returning to university, the contest is opened. It’s no-one’s fault, just my luck. I hope I’ve still entered in time.
I completely understand why you couldn’t get the contest up and running. It’s TGS. I was just concerned since there was no word on it. A ‘sorry, we’re busy, it’ll be up when we have time’ would have sufficed completely. That’s what we got eventually, and I’m still grateful for it. And now, I believe I’ve devoted far too much time to talking about how a contest for PSP button covers was delayed. Sorry!
I fear I’m becoming a little too liable to doing this, but I’ll now say: to fully express my opinions concerning Peace Walker would be impractically time-consuming. So, I’ll just say that I’m very pleased with what your team has produced. In some respects, it is similar to Portable Ops. I suppose that is to be expected though. The actual game system has taken a very drastic turn away from Portable Ops’ characteristics, I’m happy to observe. I’m not suggesting that MPO is without merits.
I played quite a few missions through Adhoc Party from the Japanese PS Store. It works flawlessly. The friend I was playing with lives in Finland, and I live in Wales – one of the most Western areas of the UK. Though I understand the game is not intended for play like that, it was still extremely enjoyable. I also realise that the game is meant to bring people together physically through the lack of infrastructure mode and the appeal of face-to-face interaction. However, it doesn’t change the fact that such activities are an undeniable niche – even within games - here where I live, and that the friends who would want to join in playing the game are at different universities.
I’d like to say again that the updates which Christine provided throughout TGS were invaluable. I love how open to the community you guys are. It’s unlike almost all Japanese game development studios which I know of. But more than that – it’s unlike a vast amount of Western companies. I really commend you for it. I was very pleasantly surprised to be greeted as an equal by Christine, Chris and Ken, through receiving replies on twitter, when it’s very clear that we’re not equal. Within your industry, the jobs you do are extremely respectable and important! So, thanks very much.
I’ll try to comment more often on the updates you guys provide. It’s intimidating that you can do it so frequently, when it’s obvious that you have far more work than me. I can’t even provide my thoughts on them! ;)
Kelga, I found reading through your comment very entertaining. I love seeing more enthusiastic and productive MGS/KP fans. :)
